The innovation map is a comprehensive framework for creating different style of maps presented in a presentable design. Many components are customizable, such as background layers, marker styles, marker cluster behavior or filter categories.

A great advantage compared to other mapping frameworks is the capability of displaying any high resolution image as map base layer. Furthermore, anymation layers can be added and interactively switched on and off. These features open up completely new fields of application.

Maps can be restricted to privileged users or they can be public, optionally offering the possibility for everyone to add data. Besides the map view, data can also be viewed in easily searchable and filterable lists or they can be exported to PDF and provided as download.
